1980 XS1100 for sale

Just got this one running. Carbs dipped & rebuild kits installed, new battery, plugs, wires, air filter, oil, etc. Purchased from a woman whose husband passed. It was his project but he never got it running. Sat in a shed for years. Only thing left to do is sync the carbs but it runs and I will add a video link to show it running. Not 100% sure what it's worth but it's in great condition so I'll post it at $2500 and take comments. Beautiful piece of motorcycle history. Runs, rides, stops, Under 28K miles. Clean title. Coming to this forum to sell your bike at that price is not happening. Not saying the bike is not sound and running well... but you have arrived at a site where we like to buy cheap .... restore and keep. Good luck selling it though. Might want to try facebook and lower your price to begin with.

It's a 1981 XS1100SH. I echo cajun31. I believe your asking price won't bring any lookers. You may be asking more than double what it might bring. If this forum is an indication, the fan base is dying off, which leaves folks who only want an old bike if it comes cheap.
