Looks to be a nice scoot, with low miles. Also, gotta like the spaghetti head pipes.

        Gone already. No surprise.

Went back to look at the pipes, so I see how the spaghetti pipes work with the oil filter and centerstand. I'm contemplating stealing the Bagger pipes for the Venturer, then putting my NOS spaghetti on the Bagger.

          Hi Mike,
I like the look of the spaghetti pipes. At one time we tried to fit a set to my Venturer and could not make it work, I think it was the pipes for the oil cooler that were the problem. I could be wrong.....I have been before.
I was not willing to go to the expense of changing the lines which have swaged fittings at each end.

            Yup

            Phil:

That's exactly why I am not even considering putting the spaghetti on the Venturer - the oil cooler lines interfere.

So, I was thinking to steal the decent Special pipes from my SG for the Venturer, then use the spaghetti on the SG.

I do have a problem with the spaghetti set. One of the slip-on joints won't go together. I'll probably have to use a tailpipe expander tool and hope I don't crack the dern thing.

              Hi Mike,
Like you said in your first post I wonder if there is carbon build up in the pipe joint giving you trouble ? close enough you could put the smaller pipe in the freezer to make it fit ?

No carbon build-up. Believe it or not, they are NOS. Never used, and still in the Jardine box.

You can see the 1-2 headers don't fit into the muffler. The problem seems to be more serious than something I can solve by temp.

I wanna start a thread on the Venturer if I can figure out where I m going to host the pictures. I don't dare do anything more on my Photobucket account or it will go over some data limit or some some new rule will happen and my old posts will lose the pictures.

I will come back to the exhaust when I am wrapping up the project, probably in the spring or early summer. That's when it will be time to put the exhaust back on.

                  Hi Mike,
Can not see that detail. Your picture appears through the haze of a dirty window with the photobucket logo so while you , the paying customer, see a clear and in focus picture the rest of us do not.

Finding a photo hosting site that will be reliable into the future is a quest. Sadly I fear Free and Reliable have become like Cheap & Fast......pick only one.
