Thanks for the tip. Reached out to the seller, but no response yet. It is in driving distance for me and could be a good short term project, swapping the battery and fluid, polishing up the cases. However, I'm waiting to learn more about this history just in case there is something nasty in the past. Looks great, but like to know before driving 6 hours with a trailer. Will let you know and thanks again.

A mint bike in storage since the year after I graduated from high school....wow. Unreal. I picked up a 7,000 mile beauty in the early 2000s and when I stopped to talk to the mechanic about it he just blew me off. He said must be a reason they didn’t ride it, I’m sure it’s messed up! Pissed me off. Lol sure enough when it warmed up it lost spark with bad pickup coil wires. It was an easy fix thanks to xs11.com!
Buyer beware.....reminds me of the day I saw my old bike on Craigslist for sale in California..........only I knew it was in Georgia! Good thing you can do the deal in person....if they ever call back.
Beautiful bike......I think it would be a $3500 bike......easily a $1500 parts bike.
