81 Venturer for sale

New battery. Starts and runs but rough idle. PO took carbs apart and lost bearings for choke. I just use an old spark plug.Front brakes are stuck. Other than that not in bad shape. Tires have little wear. Located in Bath Maine. Check ad on Craigslist for pics. Asking $1000 or best offer.

Good 'find' dbbrian. Looks to make someone a nice Venturer model, right down to the original seat and original backrest! Only other change I see at this point is the mirror assemblies have been changed to rectangle assemblies from the original round mirrors.

Thanks! I pull out the choke and place the spark plug between the choke handle and carb body. It snaps shut and holds the spark plug in place and open enough to activate the choke.

1/8" ball bearings will fit and work.(DAMHIKIJK) You can buy them at your local Ace hardware, or at least I can.

Yes. I was lucky in that the spring didn't hide. As it's a 1/8" ball, try and find a 1/8" spring at Ace. If not, try a ballpoint pen spring. You may be able to find one that will work.

That spring is a hard to find size. I have a few extra here if you need a couple Tex.

Thank you Phil I will certainly keep that in mind. I am hoping that once I look into it that may still be in the holes. If I recall they didn't jut out too far.
