    Nice original 79 special

Here’s a nice 79 special on eBay still in original condition and loved by its original owner. Not a bad reserve either. If you want a jewel xs11sf this may be worth checking out.

    Agree!

That certainly is a great find for someone who prefers a project with less effort.

It's in my neighborhood, but I have a nice SF already.

How do you know the reserve? You contacted the buyer?

      H Mike,
Want a beer bet it clears the $2000 hurdle if it sells ?
Certainly looks like an excellent example.

        I'll Take that Bet

        Phil:

I'll take your bet, but I don't drink beer anymore.

I can offer you a beer if it clears $2000, but you have buy me a hot fudge sunday at the Iron Horse this fall if it sells for less than $2000.

        Deal?

I wished him luck and dropped a little bid. When I told him I got $3550, 10 years ago,for mine in about the same shape he gave me a very good idea what the reserve is. I’d pay it if I was local. I’d be willing to bet it will go.

                  Hi Ian,
He wants a $500 deposit at close of auction so he must be expecting more than that. You could go and have a look with $900 in one pocket

I know! I wish it was closer, I’d have dropped 1,500 on that. I did bid 1,000 but knew that wouldn’t do it. Kinda sucks unless you’re the guy that got it!
