That bike speaks for itself. I'm sure many more $s went in to it than what the asking price is, he must really enjoy the time spent and work, not to mention finding the OEM parts and paying for them.
It's a 45,000 mile bike, he did mention tearing everything down, wonder if he rebuilt the engine ?
I'm not interested, though it is only 350 miles from me.

Yeah ..he says he tore the engine down too..this is a total restoration..talk about 100% turnkey..it don't get no better...

Bought this bike from Jeff. Runs great, tranny shifts smoothly, good operation, almost flawless restoration. Only a few details to address for which I have the parts on hand! Happy to be the next owner.

Bike finally arrived from MN by HaulBikes. No damage. Bike runs tight and strong. It has (4) little defects which will get fixed this weekend thanks to some lucky NOS finds. Other than those, it is very cherry. Brings back lots of memories when I purchased my other 1100 in 78 and before it was converted to touring.

Nice this bike found a loving home, congrats !
Couple blocks from my house there is a Duc dealer, few years back I see a SECA 900 parked in front, got to find out about this. Inside I'm informed that it belongs to the parts counter guy, around the corner, jeez this guy is old, like in my age bracket. He restores old Yamaha motorcycles to look like new, the Seca has a total of 147,000 miles with rebuilds. His latest, a pair of XS1100Fs, he says he won't stop until they are brand new again, can't wait to see ! Can't wait to find out how much ?
