'79 xs1100 for sale in Long island NY Comes w/ gear and TOOLS
Need to sell by 6/30, I'm moving and I don't have a way to get it off the island. Not a confident enough rider to take it through NYC.
Runs and drives. Needs a new horn to pass inspection, and is due for the yearly carb cleaning. Otherwise ready to go TODAY.

What I've done (outside of normal maintenance):
Rebuilt front and rear calipers
Replace front brake lines with braided steel
Replaced battery
Repaired headlight
Replaced flashers with led's
Added inline fuel filter and fuel cut off switch
Replaced hardware on carbs
Repaired throttle
Repaired starter button
Ran new fuel lines
replaced flasher unit
Replaced factory cam chain tensioner with automatic cam chain tensioner
Replaced tire with Shinko Tourmasters (only driven about 200 miles so far)
Replaced exhaust with mac 4-2 turnout kit
Replaced boober seat from the previous owner. with a more comfortable two-person saddle.
Replaced forks and changed fork oil (comes with spare set of Forks)
What it needs: (the bike is 39 years old generally it's a pretty reliable machine but it's not perfect...)
Paint on the tank needs work.
Gas tank needs to be relined.
Horn needs to be fixed.
Due for annual carb cleaning.
Comes with extra hardware including a second set of forks, motorcycle jack, tire change stand, carb tuning/sync kit, and gear for two riders
Mileage estimated around 36,000
