I was just looking at that... She's a beaut. Where'd you get the bags?

I bought the bags and mounts off craigslist. Having not known at the time the mounts are different from a special to a standard. I had to modify the mounts a lot to get them to work. I painted the bags and added new hardware. The pics make the bike look nicer than it is, I mean the finish. Mechanically she is awesome!

It was over a month for me to sell my XJ. Ended up accepting $1300. Cosmetically rough but ran well enough to drive it 30 minutes to deliver it.

I think it has to do with the time of year as well.

Hi Tim..Nice bike..and your price is more than fair..stick to it...Since most of what is needed is cosmetic..this would make an easy restoration...dont part it out if you dont sell it right away... Are the bags in the way of changing the rear tire? How hard are they to detatch?

I haven't serviced the rear tire since the bags but it should be pretty easy. Six bolts, I believe, upper shock mount, passenger pegs, and upper sub frame I think and it will come off as a unit. There may be enough room to change tire without removing though I'm not 100%. Kind of frustrating this bike is getting absolutely no love whatsoever by any potential buyers.
