I'm reluctantly ready to sell my baby but here goes...
Here's a link to some pics (hopefully it works! ).

I bought this 1978 Standard about 2 years ago and did a number of things to make it ride-able and reliable. PO didn't have the carbs set up correctly and it barely ran.
Here's a list of things I've done to it: Cleaned carbs, adjusted floats (replaced one with a hole), replaced fuel lines with Tygon, added in-line fuel filters, new aftermarket petcocks, rebuilt gas cap with new rubber seal, epoxy lined tank, added velocity stacks and pods, relocated ignition switch, new headlight and brackets, new speedo, new tach, new 3 ohm coils (bypassed ballast of course), new spark plugs, plug wires and caps, cleaned and rebuilt advance mechanism, new vac. hose, new carb boots, rebuilt top end (new head and base gasket, piston ring sets, Viton valve seals), new turn signals, new brake light, new flasher relay, upgraded fuse box and fuses., voltmeter, mirrors, rebuilt front brakes with stainless pistons, new tires, lowered forks in clamps by 3/4", risers, new shocks, fork brace, grips, clutch lever, swing-in kick starter (yes it's functional!), synthetic gear oil in middle drive and final drive, new battery, SAE battery charge cable, auto cam chain tensioner, Geezer regulator/rectifier.
The cafe seat was mounted as to not have to cut the frame so someone to take it back to stock if they wanted.
I also have numerous spare parts including a set of forks, 2 handlebars, original air box, CDI box, 2 sets of shocks, shorty exhaust tip, original tach and speedo, original headlight and taillight.
I’d like to see this go to an enthusiast from this site as this site has helped me tremendously with getting Eleanor roadworthy.
I’m asking $3000 obo. Pick up only. Clean title.
Thanks for reading!
Brian
