Im asking $500 for the bike. Thats what I purchased it for. I purchased this last winter as a first time rebuild. In January I had to go through lower back surgery and as of this posting, Im still not able to do too much strenuous activity. Im a short guy and the XS1100 is a huge bike for me. Due to the surgery Im not able to get it on its center stand or bend over for long periods of time to get anything done. We are moving and I dont think Ill be able to get it on a trailer for transport.
Ive been hoping I would have been able to get this working again over the summer or even the fall but I dont think thats going to happen. Since XS1100 Forums was the first place I came for help, I wanted to post this here.
It was blowing smoke before but after changing the oil and refilling it to the proper level its not doing it much now. I havent had it running since winter. The battery is old so I jump it to get it started. Aside from the oil change and some cleaning, I havent done anything else to the bike. I havent even changed over the title. Ill leave that for the next owner.
There are some dents in the tank and fenders. Theres some rust here and there but not too bad. The bike has about 57k miles.
Its almost complete. I think the only thing its missing is the left mirror.
If interested, please PM me. Buyer would have to pick it up and load. Im in central NJ.
