'Yes' on those inner two cyl. having more heat. If interested in removing that blueing color, a lot of bike shops sell the BLUE-AWAY. It's a paste like material that comes in a 2,5oz. plastic bottle. Tiny amount used and worked on like polish....it WILL remove that light blueing color and bright chrome WILL stand out again
