Howdy gents! Ran upto Saginaw after work (40 mph winds across I-75) and met with Matt (owner of this bike). The bike was just as amazing as the pictures.
Took it for a ride, and rode like it was on rails. Original exhaust and airbox gave it a very tight-fitting sound. I believe in quid-pro-quo, and handed the keys of my bike over to Matt, and let him go for a ride.
I spoke with Matt's lovely wife while he was out, and whatever I told her, convinced him to keep the bike, taking it off the market.
I'll head back up-there on Sunday to help him with the front brakes, and allow him and his wife the Summer to cruise.1979 XS1100F
