Well, maybe the seller will figure out it's not an 81. Guess that'll happen if the tag with manufacture date,etc. on steering neck is referenced to, as manufacture date tag is exactly that, not production yr.
Actuallly looks to be an 80 Standard(80 G). A lot of tell-tale signs besides engine sidecovers.81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

Looks to be an "F"
Sidecovers with pull tab and kick start shaft are present, also speedo is the speedy one.
