79XS1100SF price?

Hello all,
I have a 79 xs1100sf that is in need of a good home. I've got two new boys in the house and the wife says the bike's got to go. It has ~54k on the odometer and I drove it last week. I really have no idea if it's worth. Can you guys give me an idea of what these go for? Or point me in the direction of a website like kbb for motorcycles? Thank you.

I would look around at Craigs List for various major cities in your area.

If you search for "XS" in a given city, you will quickly find some reference prices.

Of course, they don't always sell for the asking price.

our bikes are so old that KBB doesn't even list these anymore...its really hard to see the condition of your bike from one small phone pic...and listing all the details will help too...more and better pics ... based upon what I see $1500 is in the ballpark...

I sold a 79 xs1100sf several years ago for $800. It was a runner with a few minor problems.
