  • 79 XS1100F 1 owner Craigslist

    http://columbia.craigslist.org/mcy/5393931821.html

Posting this just in case anyone wants it. I'm thinking about picking it up but I'm not sure if I will be able to.

I went and looked at it. She cranks and has compression (forgot to check for spark but the owner said it was running). Carbs just probably need to be cleaned. It has surface corrosion but can be cleaned up work steel wool. It's missing the rear brake master cylinder, the kick starter lever, front turn signals, and mirrors. Rear rotor is drilled and it still has original tool kit as well as both side covers. The owner said that he's never had a problem with 1st and second gear slipping when I asked about it.

Won't take that much to get it going again.

He said he had the tank painted like the 1980 years ago... the fender and seat are definitely 79 because of where the computer is.

        $

Asking price is a little much for a non runner. $500 is max for this condition.
