I am here to let you know I'm selling one of my most prized bikes:
A 1980 1100 Midnight Special and it's in "like new" original condition (not restored) and I did everything it needed to get it running like new again. It only has 2050 miles and I put 750 miles on it myself since I bought it. I cleaned the tank and fuel system, cleaned and rebuilt the carbs, synced carbs, rebuilt petcock, replaced fuel filters and fuel lines, installed K&N air filter, flushed brake lines and rebuilt master cylinders front and back, changed brake pads, changed engine oil & filter, changed all fluids, installed a set of sport bars, new rear blacked out progressive shocks, new spark plugs, rewired vacuum advance, had the old set of mini crash bars 24k gold plated, 4 into 1 headers. I still have the original set of 4 into 2 pipes but they need refinishing, I have center stand and original handle bars and a couple extra rear taillight lenses. I owned one of these in the 650cc size when I was just a kid in 1981 and saw this along side the road for sale and had to have it. That was a year ago and I'm realizing it's just too stressful to keep it in my garage here in Florida. It really needs to be kept in an air conditioned space and ridden occasionally. This is a very rare bike and it needs to go to a good owner.
