    mileage

It looks pretty clean for having 72000 miles on it.
I am curious what you guys think,
Is that a lot of miles or is that only middle age (like a lot of us are!) ???

The 4H7 vin code is relative to an '80 XJ650, and the cam cover isn't from any Eleven I've encountered, also there's a mechanical tach hookup at the front of the head.

I searched around the web and haven't found what engine is in that bike or exactly what bike it really is. probably be best to contact the seller.

      1983 XJ750MK Midnight Maxim (semi-restored DD)
      1977 XS650D ( patiently awaiting resto)

Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before you can think straight.

        Hi Ranger,
Only the second link works for me so my comments are based on 3 pictures. Yamaha fairing same as Venturer. Engine looks clean= indication of cared for. Mileage is not a concern as mine is approaching 90,000 miles
(145,000Km) and mechanically is fine. Others have gone well past 100,000 miles with no mechanical problem beyond the usual 2nd gear issue which is not that hard to fix. Does it RUN and what parts are missing would be questions to ask of the seller. Exhaust condition? it might be original.
If it runs and has all it's parts the price is quite good.
Expect to replace battery and tires and probably needs the carbs cleaned.
