    Looks like a pretty nice survivor. Not running and apart kinda raises some doubts. May be a bit high on the asking price in that condition.

    Owner would help his cause by getting it running and back together.

      I contacted the owner a few weeks ago and made a lower offer on the bike.
      It is always a gamble buying a non runner, especially with the risk of gas-oil!
      And since he bought the bike at an auction and is not the original owner, You just never know...
      But still, at the right price it is still probably worth the gamble.
      We agreed that we should talk about it again after the holidays and that he should let the ad run
      for a few weeks or a month to see what kind of response he got.
      I am hoping to hear back from him sometime, but we'll see.

          Yep, still out of work and still need the money,
          and still looking for another project bike to fix up
          and try to make a few bucks on.
