Well, first post here.

I'm the one who bought this bike.

I was looking for a long distance/touring bike.

I'm my region, the standard XS's don't seem to come up for sale very often, and when they do, they aren't in the greatest of shape.

Even though I have a couple of Yamaha SR's, a '78 and a '15, I come from riding and wrenching (a lot of wrenching) Harley's.

I'm hoping this marks a fork I the road taken for the better.

Bob did a good job bringing this original bike back to riding condition.

I plan on continuing to keep on going through it just to make sure it's up to snuff.

These bikes make fine long-distance mounts, and many here can attest to that fact.
