Well got an email from the owner. I think this is a save. He loves this bike but has no mechanical skills. He would like nothing more than to get it on the road.

He is 40 miles up the parkway I am making arrangements to meet up ASAP and get him on the road

Just back from West Palm on the Venturer put 3,600 miles on bike in 2 weeks it was flawless

A save

Looks like a save we are meeting next week Owner is 70 and really does not want to get rid of it. Just does not know how to fix it or where to begin. Just like most of us before we found this site and all the great knowledge everyone offers . I will get him going. Looking forward to a new fellow rider. Thanks to Aches N Pains I have enough spare parts I am sure I have everything he might need to get rolling if something is needed We will post to the Xs11Forum once we get this started. Its my turn to give back on what I have learned the past few years.

Its a Go! This is a great Guy can't he wait to see it run. Gave it the once over all looks good took the carbs home they are done Picking up the bike tomorrow going to do it at my shop. I will have it back to him in 2 weeks Just in time for his 70th birthday!
