    1981 XS1100 Venturer $1600obo

Haven't been riding it as much as I should. Spending more time working and the rest on the water fishing... Just cant let it sit anymore.

Sold off the 650's a while back John. So I'll be without a bike for a while until I find something I want to ride and have time for...

I thought hard about selling it for a couple months now. Just haven't had the time to finish going through the carbs as it's been sitting. So I think I've priced it fair. I had one offer tonight an hour after I posted it and the guy lives only a few miles away from me. He came and looked at it and may come take it tomorrow. It runs, is in good shape and goes down the road good. Just has a miss coming off the pilots. I suspect float height and just have no time to go through it again.

I've been spending the majority of my time working, some extracurricular activities... and with my son / his girlfriend offshore, so now is the time(cheap gas!). Once the weather gets right, we'll be back out there. Only got out a few times last year so I'm really looking forward to it!

Want to buy a boat? Got my 20' cat up forsale also.

Ran it 6 years until we started venturing out 100+ miles... Had to get a bigger boat. http://i307.photobucket.com/albums/n...726TwinVee.jpg

Ben and Phil - this is a very nice bike kept up by someone who can really turn a wrench. Totally worth going for it. AND quite the speedster -I have witnessed it going from 0-62 in about 200 yards "verified" by Texas DPS.

Sorry Rich I think its been long enough to laugh about it I hope.

                        No cash in hand yet!

Have one that collects them and wants it for what I'm asking but cant get here until the 26th.

The other wants his bud(mech) to look at it this Sunday. I hear a negotiation coming...

In Texas but just bought a house - It will be some time before I buy another XS to put in the stable. Gorgeous bike though. Damn I wish it was a year later - it would be sold to me haha.

                              collector??

I never thought of myself as a collector. I have a few but they are for riding. If you need the cash up front we should be able to figure something out, I am out of town for work and cannot come by to pick it up until 26th.
I have a bike and I am not afraid to use it
