Ole builds awesome bikes. I have one of his that is a virtual twin to the one pictured. Not sure if knowledgeable buyers are out there that see the value, but I am sure I could not have built a bike for what I paid for mine.

Not sure to whom you're referencing...but a couple things grab me ...first is only 400 on rebuild and the rest of it which looks pristine(could benefit from better photgraphy)could be justifiably a good price for this bike...He states this is the last of his collection so this might be it from this fella...

The seller references Ole's Restoration as the engine re-builder. Ole's Classic Cycles, based in Wisconsin, has been doing comprehensive re-builds of the XS1100 and other makes for several years. He builds great performing examples of the XS1100.
