If I was not dumping another grand on my bike this Spring, I'd probs drive down there and grab that.

About 350 miles and a little over 5 hours from me . . . I'm glad, and I know SWMBO is also, that it's not closer 'cause it's soooo tempting . . . DAMN !!!

One of these days when I complete my other two, I'd like to obtain an XJ and build a Midnight Maxim, this one is too nice to do that to, IMHO.
1980 XS1100G "Dolly G" Full Dresser (with a coat of many colors )
            1979 XS1100SF (stock-euro mods planned)
            1984 XV700L Virago (to be hot-modded)
            1983 XJ750MK Midnight Maxim (semi-restored DD)
            1977 XS650D ( patiently awaiting resto)

Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before you can think straight.

It's an absolutely beautiful bike! I spent many moments contemplating the purchase of it. Just not what I'm looking for though.

It is what I would like...I've always liked the looks of the XJs' better than the XSs'...money and distance are limiting factors..whomever ends up with this is going to have a nice ride...
