If you want it it's pretty much a parts bike. $250 tops.
Bob Falter could help you get it.

Exhaust seems unusually nice. In fact no rust showing at all.
Wonder how low the "low miles" are.
What a shame about the lack of title.

Seriously! you boys should be buying up all these good condition but no title bikes and shipping them over here, that would sell for $2000 over here.

What does a 40ft shipping container cost from US to UK? $5000 ?
20 bikes, $1000 profit per bike (more if you can get them this good for $250) overheads covered by first 5 bikes, $15,000 profit.
Ok I'm just guessing/dreaming .....but maybe one of you guys is in the shipping business?
There are quite a few Specials over here that must have come in this way, my XJ11 must have, they were never officially imported here.

I had heard of an American living in Japan who was filling containers with engines and shipping them to Texas. There must be some money in it. I don't expect it's any too easy. There has to be somebody working at each end. One buying and shipping and the other receiving and selling. I'm sure there's enough red tape to make it more than a small challenge. The governments will want a lions share as well. I imagine there has to be proof they aren't stolen as well.

My BIL is in the shipping business, has been for 20 years. Somewhat of a whiz kid on the logistics side. He's in Hong Kong right now. Sent him an email.
Went to look at a bike, did not work out, more $ than I was willing.
Guy says want to look in my barn ?
Kawi 2 stroke triples in all sizes, he says the smaller sizes sell best in Japan, 500 and smaller but the market is there for all.
That's how he makes a living, filling containers and shipping to Japan !
