First quality paint would be about 700 bucks for the tank and side covers The chrome on the bike is about the best I have seen. The seat is the original pan, reworked by Sargent and it is niiiice. I think the best idea is to polish and sell or polish and ride or polish and keep or ?

From one your local automotive paint suppliers, a bottle of Meguiar's #2 fine-cut cleaner and a little elbow grease will do magic on those pieces.

Take the tank and side covers to a GOOD auto paint shop. Get a price to match the tank, and paint only the side covers. Should only be about $250 or less if you take badges off and wet sand LIGHTLY before you hand them over.
