    1980 XS1100 Midnight Special

I rode it for the season, it's an awesome bike. A couple things I've done recently

    Upgraded to modern electrical fuses
    Upgraded fuel lines
    New spark plugs
    New battery
    Newer tires(2-3 years left)
    New headlight
Cleaned the turn signal module housing
    Thoroughly cleaned the carbs
New vacuum advance hose and housing

It's time for me to move on

My girlfriend just got an xs850 Midnight Special though, so we're not leaving the family. And I'll most likely be getting another Yamaha anyway

It is missing the left side cover, I do need to paint the tank before anyone buys it, and the windshield is held on by.... Parts from Home Depot... But it's very sturdy

    Asking 1,500

Is that too much money? What price point would be good?

That's actually a decent price but with the riding season winding down it may not sell. This time of year people are looking for bargains or winter projects.

You would get that out of it if you could wait until spring, that's when people get the itch to ride and will pay extra to do it.

What's a shipping service cost? If it's not outrageous, I could work with you on the price and ensure it's sent off safely

probably in the neighborhood of $400. at that point you wouldn't make enough to do what you want

I sent you a PM. Let's see if we can work this out. I'd rather it go to someone who will appreciate it for what it is than some local who's going to ride the **** out of it and lay it down

Shipping not really economical for either of us

I'm trying to move this soon, so I can do 1300 easily

Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic. I picked it up last night. It was too good of a deal to pass up

By the way, Phil (Shootoo), is your Vulcan the FI model or the carbureted model?
