Pete moved the bike from California to the East Coast last year. He purchased a newer Yamaha, and now wants to sell this to someone who will know the bike. Overall bike is in good running condition, and would make a great commute or daily ride vehicle. I've done some of the work on it, so I know it's in very good condition mechanically. New brake pads, rebuilt master and calipers front and rear. Good tires, etc.

I can email them, but I don't have the account anymore to post. It is one of the bikes on my motorcycle page with the Bixby Bridge in the background. Special with a fairing, Pete standing at the back of the bike.http://rjmatteis.com/motorcycle/pics/pete1.jpg

As I posted, Pete has the bike at his brothers house back East, and rides a newer Yamaha Vstar. He just wants it to go to someone who will take care of it, not chop it up not knowing what it is. He HAS owned the bike almost since new! And though he no longer rides it, he still loves it.
If I can get a little time today, I will try and post pictures from two weeks ago. I have them here, just need to get them up on my site and get a link going.
And yes, the (831) number is Pete's Cell. He should be back from his week long hike, and can meet and talk with anyone interested. He is in CT for a few more months.
