I'd say.........the OEM exhaust is worth nearly that alone.81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

Bike arrived and I was pleasantly surprised. I pulled the windjammer off and the engine looks like new. 25K miles. Just a little TLC and this bike and I will be on the road.
BTW, GNT Logistics is awesome. Glen pushed it right up in my garage. Hassle free service.Gene (Florida)

Well, I'm knee deep into this one. The worst thing about it is the brakes were all rusted shut. I have all replacement parts though so no biggie.
One thing, I am putting a 4 into 1 on and I can let this exhaust go. Looks great I haven't seen underneath yet. Let me know if anyone wants it.Gene (Florida)

thing is ...i doubt your 4 to 1 is better than the OEM exhaust for tuning and optimal hp...unless your're lucky enough to find a real Jardine Spaghetti 4 to 1 or a nice kerker ...if your putting on a MAC...well they're about the cheapest exhaust out there and theres little to be gained by replacing the exhaust other than some more sounds .......OEM exhausts are hard to find and if they are found and forsale be prepared to spend big bucks1980 XS650G Special-Two

I have rebuilt numerous calipers successfully with the original parts, but I opt to go new rebuild kits on the MC's
Oh and I'm glad you're keeping the exhaust, 'cause even though I have a set of Jardine Skettis with RC Performance cans to go on my SF, I was seriously entertaining the thought of having a nice stock 3H3 exhaust hangin' on the wall just 'cause.1980 XS1100G "Dolly G" Full Dresser (with a coat of many colors )

I was able to save the rear master cylinder.
Another question. I have a set of Accel coils sitting around. Brand new 3ohm. Is it worth changing while the bike is in repair mod? Im waiting for thereat wheel to be re-conditioned.Gene (Florida)
