  • USA 'standard' to European riding position kit

I have a set of all the parts necessary to convert a US 'standard' bike to the more ergonomic European riding position. I've listed it on eBay at $256 plus $47 FedEx delivery but would be fine about selling it here for $235 plus the FedEx cost.

    Here is the listing...

If anyone would like it, please PM me

My memory is getting worse! Of course...I remember now. Those parts look like they've always been on your bike! And the gear linkage does, IMO, look so cool.

How have you found the actual riding experience then, Ian?

I enjoy the riding position much more. Before the conversion, I found myself using the back pegs a lot, now I hardly ever reach back there for them. It also helps that I have Superbike handlebars, which go with the sportiness of the Euro conversion . They may not be as ergonomic as the Euro bars, but it's not what I was shooting for. It beats stock Standard handlebars any day of the week. I bought my bike and rode it straight to the shop and bought Euro bars, that's how uncomfortable on my wrists stock bars were.
