    Only thing I'd do if that were mine is swap out those nasty old tires....

    Naw.......those are museum quality ORIGINAL tires.........and ran out of peanuts, had to defer to POPCORN.

        Where are the bags? What good is a fairing if you can't carry luggage? Way overpriced! May as well give it the cafe treatment. Get rid of some of those parts and raise the price some more.

          Gosh what an old fart complaining about every thing i post... you can buy yur own bags fer crissakes and the fairing keeps crap off you better especially when yur old and decrepit which I think we both are... Cafe' this...

            Nice find in a rare color. Not too many grey ones. I think an 1980 only color.

              Yes it was...at one time I actually owned a 1980 XS1100G in that color...I kept the bike maybe 6 months and sold it and got my first FJ1200 which was a 1986 model...(back in the 90s')
              On this bike...well they dont come much more pristine...

                        Gorgeous bike, but there are always unanswered questions, such as ""Have the brake systems been redone?" We are al familiar with spooge that can develop when these system sit for years. Clutch plates can stick. Cables need lubrication. Tires replaced. Battery condition?

                        Even as it sits I would not drive it "everywhere" until I replaced the tires and did all the routine maintenance. Price should reflect that but does not. Am thinking $2.5 - $3K tops. This is a 34 year old bike and mileage does not always tell the whole story.

                            Got here today..........sorry, just a bit of rain so far, but liking the 75degree temps.....humidity ain't bad either........1730mi. From my door to here in Columbus.........
