headers are now black as that gold paint burned right off...LOL...as for the paint job you either love or you dont..the bike has been gone through thoroughly so its 110%...as for his prices well I dont feel that is out of line and if i had the $ I'd grab this right up...I'm not a fan of gold and i dont care for the stripe on the tank so if this were mine I'd black out anything that was gold...

Hey guys,
No offense taken, sometimes you have to do what you have to. I hated to see it go, I really did. But the young guy who bought it really appreciated what he got. Simple sale, no dickering, full price, straight up deal.
He's not chopping it or anything like that, just a couple of ammo boxes as saddlebags and his toolbox on the rack in the back according to him.
Called him tonight to see if they got home ok and how he liked it. The guy was tickled pink, he had it up to 40 in his local streets and was having a blast, even if he wasn't getting beyond 2nd gear. He's taking the AMA course next weekend so he'll have his endorsement. Warned him this was a lot of bike for a newbie and he understood. He was freaking on the sensitivity of the throttle response... lol !!
I was glad to see it go to a person who appreciates the bike, he kept complimenting me about the nice job on it.1980G Standard, Restored
