He was convinced that he had a Midnight Special because he looked up the VIN on an antique motorcycle website. I told him the website had its facts wrong because there is no way that's a Midnight Special.

Hi Tex,
Looks like a Venturer. Repainted tank and recovered saddle are obvious. If it starts and runs well and there are no missing parts on the other side i would think the price is fair to a little high for Maine.
Any defects would be room to negotiate the price down.
Is that what you want or are you only interested in an MNS?
