    It looks to me more like 110,000 miles.

        Unless he's wearing sandpaper shoes, that's more than 10K wear on the footpeg covers.

          It also has a round headlight and round front turn signals ...

          All in all, it does seem overpriced ...

              From what I've seen of these (80 & 81) foot peg covers, time takes it's toll on them regardless of mileage. The earlier (78 & 79) foot peg covers seem to endure the test of time much better.

                The '78 and '79 XS1100 foot rest covers are the same as the XS650 and several other bikes. They are readily available OEM and aftermarket. It might not be so much them standing the test of time as them getting periodic replacement. I've replaced the covers on my XS650 at least twice. My XS1100SG has more miles and only one foot rest cover replacement.
