Seat cover is updated, rear grab bar is either bent, or installed backwards, front fender is not stock, rear turn signals updated, non-stock mufflers. Bike with 53k+, that smokes would not have my attention. But, I'm not looking for projects . . .

Seat rail is installed upside down, seat recovered and exhaust is not stock. None of those are negatives in my mind. Rear turn signals have the oem relocation bar to move them out of the way of the saddlebags.

The front fender looks stock to me. Also the fairing is a Pacifico fairing and not a windjammer.

Yep, rear grab bar is on backwards, rear light bar is a Yamaha accessory for the hard bags to fit.

Looks like some poorly done touch up on the Pacifico above the left turn.

Looks abused to me, need the whole story.

        I'd say $ 400 to $ 500 bucks no more.

          Hi Eastcoaster,
Sounds worth alook to me. It has to run to smoke
Clutch slip has been addressed numerous times and seems like a straight forward fix. May be as simple as a cable adjustment. cries out for oem saddle bags in my opinion but they are easy to find while not so easy to ship.

Thanks Everyone I like the bike and so far the Issues seem minor.

Phil I am with you I have a nice set of oem bags same color just sitting even have the keys. I have been looking for a bike to put them on. I thought this would make a nice long ride cruiser I don't have a shield or faring and storage is always a problem on my current ride. This looked like it would be a nice project for the long haul

              Smokes

Smokes is not good and is worth much less than $900. A doable project, but will likely be a considerable one. Would only consider if could be had for $500-$600. I would let him keep the fairing.

Don't knock the Pacifico! It's a great fairing. Very stable, lots of room inside.

As to the smoking, it could go either way. I could be that it has just sat forever and the rings may need time to reseat, or you could need new rings.

pacifico does an excellent job of wind protection...it is big...actually too big...and bulky and heavy...from a visual perspective its oversized and doesnt fit the lines of the XS well and it is plain and simple....UGLY!
As for buying this bike...go for it...I wouldnt let the fairing stop me...but mechanically it might be another story...
