[QUOTE=MPittma100;429704]Pretty sure that 1982 was not the only year of the 1100.[/QUITE]
For the XJ, 1982 was the only year it was offered in the US. It was available till 84 I think elsewhere though.

In any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.
Sale ended with no bids. I suspect that if they are still for sale that an offer for both now might bring them home to someone here who is an avid XJ fan. They are "kinda" near Asheville, NC. Marty is probably closest to them. Somebody would probably ride along with him to go get them.
I contacted the guy. He has them both now on CL. Says there advertised for $1000, but will take $800. If they do not sell he said - "I am going to part them out". I made no offer, but I believe an offer of $500 will get them both for less than $800. JMHO

generally about no more than $500 for a non running bike times I'd say $800 is fair but I'd start at $700 and see if he'll dance...
as to wether or not they are worth ahving...I suppose so if you have the time and resources...these bikes are very rough...

I agree. I think he has too much in them. I have no experience with this model.
Believe I will stick to the XS.
