Yep, he's nearly 80 though so I'm not worried about him abusing it, just neglecting it.

I feel like one of my kids just left home.

Time for the next project. A 1978 Venturer (sort of)
Always would of liked to have seen someone do a MidnightVenturer with the black-out motor, black gold topped carbs, black chrome stock exhaust, black fenders, tank, sidecovers and luggage with the gold lettering, gold correct Venturer striping, and gold plating luggage frame-work. Pricey part would be the plating, and definitely have the gold swirly wheels. Would definitely be one-of-a kind!

Harry's F is pretty close to what you described.

memory sucks........that be the one with the dual headlamp fairing? If so, I like that look anyways.....only one I've seen here done with that fairly rare barn door on the front.

Thought so...wasnt sure though. That frontal look comin' atcha would have one doin a double-take wonderin' "what the h**l was that?".....the whole idea, and IMO looks way good...

Yep, that's it. He has a trunk on it now and the supertrapp has been removed and the stock exhaust from his MNS is on there.

Yeah, unfortunately that supertrapp busted in half down in Arkansas and I haven't gotten it welded up yet. The bike really liked that exhaust even if it was obnoxiously loud.

I am guessing that you will have to revise your signature now, unless the green hornet is replaced with another green bike.

                                The Hornet is home

I bought The Green Hornet back yesterday. It's no longer green though, it's bright red/orange.

It seems it's been passed around the OKC area by several owners since I sold it 4 1/2 years ago. It's really amazing how a bunch of dumb ass hillbillies can do to a nice bike in a very short time.

It appears that it hasn't been wrecked though and everything is still there except the leather bags. The supports I put on there are still intact though. The fairing was removed but I got it with the bike and it still has the Green Hornet decals on it and appear to be in good shape.

Carbs need overhaul, it's not charging probably due to the alternator wires being melted on the exhaust.

All in all it's not too bad, just needs some paint and TLC to be retuned to it's former self.

I lost the left side cover on the way home from the barn out in the sticks I found it in. It was on a farm out near Fletcher, Oklahoma. Look it up on MapQuest.

Wish I could still post pics here.
