If the primary readout is KM, then the odometer will be in KM as well. Looks like this one actually has 33,886 miles.

You are quite correct that the Odometer would be in KM's too. Unless it is originally a Canadian bike brought down to the states one must assume that the mileage shown is not accurate. It must have had a speedo change somewhere along the way and true mileage may be higher or lower than shown. No one will ever truly know unless they were the one who changed it.

The luggage is worth the price. Someone put that Pacifico fairing on that 80, they quit using those in early 79.

Not sure exactly what you are responding too here. If it was my post, then I apologize as I know it was not yours and only the actual person who replaced the speedo would know. I maybe could have worded it better.
If it was not my post you are responding too then I am lost, as usual.

Correct, I felt no need to post a picture when there are 3 available on the ad site. If your clicking the link you will see the pictures. Same reason I didn't copy and paste the complete ad.

                          Hi haywardguy929,

It appears that this bike is pretty close to you. You should go hook up your trailer and head on out after this one. Price is right. Get it and save it for a rainy day project. These bikes are going to be worth a lot "one of these days". If I were closer, I'd already be hooked to my trailer.

Believe me if I had the time and an extra few hundo and not bombarded by bills lately I'd have grabbed it.
I'd love to have a project like this for winter. Would be a great learning experience for me. I doubt it stays available to long. I hate to see it sitting there knowing the potential to get a bike like that up and running or worst case scenario a lot of good parts. It needs to be saved.

                              Timing

Timing is everything. I was up in Kasson, MN about a month ago? I'll bet that is not too far from this listing. Oh well?
