New dress on an old w*@#e
I'd be wary.1980 XS1100G "Dolly G" Full Dresser (with a coat of many colors )
1979 XS1100SF (stock-euro mods planned)
1984 XV700L Virago (to be hot-modded)
1983 XJ750MK Midnight Maxim (semi-restored DD)
1977 XS650D ( patiently awaiting resto)
Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before you can think straight.

only thing odd to me is how much of the engine parts that are normally polished are painted. No stock badges, just painted emblems. Not saying it is not a good bike, just signs that would cause me to look really close is all.Life is what happens while your planning everything else!
When your work speaks for itself, don't interrupt.

You can polish a turd all you want...in the end its still just a turd. Painted engine parts are a bit frightening, especially with little prep the way it looks.1980 XS1100SG "Black Mamba" 28K

Did they paint the vacuum advance hose? It looks grey or silver. The vibration dampers were painted too. Of course, it may look a whole lot better now than before they painted it.
Does the exhaust pipes seem to be a bit too blue?Guy
