  • 1100 Midnight Special 1980

    1980 Yamaha Midnight Special.

This bike is in excellent shape. Here is a list of what has been done to it.
Engine rebuilt by Trex Motorsports Less than 30 miles:
    New front and rear brakes:
    New battery:
    Seat reupholstered by Spokane Upholstery:

The only thing that still needs to be done is to re-clear coat the air box. This is purely cosmetic

This only vehicle I would be interested in trading for would be classic step-side pickup. I would trade for guns, ammo, reloading supplies, Quality Optics. You get the idea

Here are some picture’s I have more I can email you or you can just come and seen it in person. The cash price is $2500

    Nice Bike !!!

See, now this is a Perfect Example of a warranted asking price.

    GLWS
1980 XS1100G "Dolly G" Full Dresser (with a coat of many colors )
    1979 XS1100SF (stock-euro mods planned)
    1984 XV700L Virago (to be hot-modded)
    1983 XJ750MK Midnight Maxim (semi-restored DD)
    1977 XS650D ( patiently awaiting resto)

Sometimes it takes a whole tank of gas before you can think straight.

Hmm, engine rebuilt only 30 miles ago and now it's for sale? A complete rebuild (done professionally) must have cost close to if not more than the asking price, so that begs the question: why is the owner willing to take the apparent loss?....

There's more here than meets the eye....
Fast, Cheap, Reliable... Pick any two

'78E original owner - resto project
      '78E ???? owner - Modder project FJ forks, 4-piston calipers F/R, 160/80-16 rear tire
      '82 XJ rebuild project
      '80SG restified, red SOLD
      '79F parts...
      '81H more parts...

Cage: '13 Mustang GT/CS with a few 'custom' touches
      Yep, can't leave nuthin' alone...

The Rebuild did cost close to the asking price but that does not change the value of the bike unless you compare it to the value of a non-running bike. I am selling the bike for just one reason I can't ride any more so now the bike just sits in the garage.

Thats a pretty bike..sorry you cant ride and enjoy it...but you have preserved... in all its classic grandeur...another XS1100... and for that i highly commend you. It is easily worth your asking price and wish you luck on the sale.

            Why?

Are there any MNS any closer to the east coast? Seems they are all on the left coast?

Might would buy one if it did not take a week+ to go get it.
