Good looking bike, I did notice that you have SS brake lines on there and it didn't look like you mentioned that in the listing.1979 XS1100 -
nice but your specs on HP are incorrect... the only modle year to have 95 hp from the factory was 1978...by 1982 with the YICS system hp was down to approx 72 ponies... and the gas tank capacity not 6 gals but something more like 5.2 gals...I've only owned mine 29+ yrs so i think thatss right...Otherwise a nice ad and a great bike to boot. ah ... makes sense, though disappointing. I copied and pasted from an online posting (for this very bike) that I think came out of Australia.
I'll correct that, although it's a moot point. The bike never reached my low reserve ($2549) so I'll keep it for now and ride it when my back allows.

it seems that source is mixing XS and XJ ...notice it says '82 XS not XJ? Also like mentioned earlier they used what appears to be 1978 stats for hp on the 82...also their mention of a 6 Gal tank...there was only one year that had such a tank and it was only on the '81 XS1100H or Venturer that was a full blown touring setup with fairing and matching hardbags and topbox...so its not accurate to the 1982 XJ...

Hey madmax-im,
I figured as much ... I corrected what I knew was different. Will get the manual out and do a final fix.
I think my tank is 6.3 gallons ...
