Although most of us know those numbers were an urban myth, that one could likely fall in the class of 50 or less having the gold trimmed fairing, black chrome crash guards and the Yammy accessory gold trimmed backrest assembly all in tact. Looks to make someone a nice touring Midnite.......
81H Venturer1100 "The Bentley" (on steroids) 97 Yamaha YZ250(age reducer) 92 Honda ST1100 "Twisty"(touring rocket) Age is relative to the number of seconds counted 'airing' out an 85ft. table-top.

It never bothers me if someone is asking more than what I feel it is worth, just means I will not be buying it.

However, I do get sick of people putting misleading information or inacurate pictures in their ads. When I wen to buy my first SH, the PO had put up a picture of an SH in mint stock condition. However, the bike I looked at had the K/Q seat installed, and all the badges had been blacked out. When I questioned him on it, he stated he had a friend with the mint one, and he used his for the photo because his was not clean at the time, he did not think anyone would notice the differences.

I went to look at an 850 based on the photos.. The pictures werent modified but definitely did not show the POJ the bike was. It wouldnt start which was
a good thing. It made it easier for me to back away from it.. The craigs list ictures showed it to be almost cherry with fairing and bags.. Up close, the corosion was all that held the aluminum together and of course the wire ties that held the fairing togethe3r was another small thing.. he was asking 1200. when I went to see it he said 850.. then I saw it advertised at 500.. It may be free by now.. Pictures dont always tell the true story.
