Jimmy Carter and the NHTSA chief Joan Claybrook were the brains behind the 85mph speedos, as well as the legendary National 55 mph Speed Limit.

When coming home from OH in the Family Truckster last week, I related the story of the 55 mph limit on all interstates. To demonstrate, I slowed the car down to 55mph on I-70, and my 8 yr. old said "why are we stopping"? Honestly, I was worried about getting rear ended.

Got him to send me the pics from the CL ad and was able
to enlarge them...Seems to be a bit rough around the edges,
but for a lower offer, it might be something worth buying for
someone a little more local. I would seriously consider it if it
weren't for the added expense of the $450 to get shipped to me
