I traded for the bike and was planning on fixing it up but I've spent more than I should have already on a new battery, air filter, carb rebuild (full kit with floats and gaskets too). We just had a baby so every dime counts and I want to finish the bike but I can't right now
Anyways, it runs and runs pretty good. It was 40 degrees today but I walked out, hit the choke and it started within 1-2 seconds of cranking. It runs hard and will about pull you off the seat. There's a slight stumble if you go full throttle from a slow speed/high gear but that may just be normal or it could be because I bench sync'd the carbs after rebuilding them and didn't use a sync tool.
It needs some minor things, mostly cosmetic but may also need a tach, a front fork seal, and a rear tire within a season or two. I can tell you much more but don't want to spend a lot of time typing if no one is interested. I have a set of cheapo soft bags to go with it and 2 handlebars (straight/cafe and the stock ones, cafe is on it now). Had Mac-style 4-1 header/muffler but has been painted black by previous owner but sounds really awesome.
Has 44,000 miles and I have a clean TN title. I've put probably 200-300 miles on it since I've rebuilt the carbs and it never leaves me stranded or fails to get me home just fine so it's a bike you can ride and fix up as you go.
