  • 1980 XS Standard in SE Michigan

Getting out of the XS game if I can. Funds are getting tight, and I just don't have the time anymore to take care of it.

    http://annarbor.craigslist.org/mcy/2612201771.html

1980 Standard. New rear wheel, Reg/Rec (from Geezer), fork seals, seat cover. Has XJ rear shocks, but I have the stock 1980 shocks lying around if you want 'em. Also have a double-bucket seat and rear hard bag bracket (but NO bags) lying around, too.

Starts up easy, runs well. There's a minor engine hiccup every now and then, but it might be something as simple as needing some tuning. I'm not a mechanic, so I don't really know.

I've got $1500 up there, but that's really just to avoid getting low-balled. Make me an offer, if you're interested. Thanks.
    Currently XS-less.

lmao, those are pretty cool though. That's what I'm gonna throw on the end of my headers, just a little elbow turned down at the ground like that.

Those are a holdover from the PO. He had a full-dresser setup, and those are Harley exhausts with long-a$$ resonators. They look better with the bags (which, of course, I don't have anymore). They sound pretty neat, when compared to stock- instead of "crotch rocket" think "motorboat".

Of course, they ALSO taught me that the PO was absolutely HORRIBLE at welding! (MIG weld goose-poop, anyone?)
