    1981 xs 1100 special

    i have a xs 1100 special , carbs where redone and tuned tank is good has new tires, brakes are good all is lubed mechanic says lower engine has a bad bearing bike has 4 to 1 exhaust,has 17k miles ,new carb holders,turns on and runs but has a knock mech. says may have a bad bearing and can be fixed for about 600.00 paint is good some cosmetic scratches, seat has a spot of damage tank is hand painted with a provocative pic of female so i keep it covered because of kids everything works but sure what i should do with it i'm just not sure sell it or keep it ....i really need some advice i will try to find a way to post pics....

    Watch ebay for a good used motor near you, buy it (way cheaper than $600), & replace yours.

      did u sync the carbs after u tuned
      the bike, sometimes an out of sync carb
      can cause a knock. jat.
