Interesting that it is missing the air box, but has the intake tubes.

          pods

Probably had foam pods over the tubes that disintegrated maybe?

            Hi John,
Not the Toronto bike. we have seen the Rawhide posting before. The Toronto bike ad had a HD fairing.

              Crs

Phil you probably do well at those memory games where you see a picture and have to remember what was where to match.

I would have had to have those ads side by side to tell difference as I have CRS and was mostly surprised to see a fully bagged Special (and not 1 but two!)

I guess the clear Wisconsin title should have been a clue huh?

                Hi John,
I too suffer from CRS sometimes. However I am not a fan of that HD fairing on HD's It was such a revolting sight on an XS I am tramatized for life

I think you're talking about the bike I picked up. It does have a Harley fairing. I'd add a picture but I can't figure out how to do that. Great deal. And the fairing and bags came off immediately.

                    Welcome Jamie!

Glad to see you joining the fun.

Post that extra hardware in the for sale forum - bags for specials are not as common as for standards.

                    Post pics asap.

                          Thanks

Thanks for the welcome, and the advice. I've been using this site since I bought the first XS 11 back in February.

I've attached the pictures (I hope) of the Toronto bike the morning after I brought it home. I got it for half the asking price, but I had to pick it up the night I called or it was going into storage. Interesting evening.

North Bay is a 1 hour ride from a family cottage in Parry Sound so that's good to know. I'll check it out.

I was going to sell the bags and fairing on Kijiji, but I'll add them to the sale section here too.

                          Thanks again.

                            Hi JGroat,
That fairing is not bad from the riders point of view. Looks more like Darth Vader from the front Interesting bags.
Bike looks to be in reasonable shape and @ 1/2 price a good buy.
