  • '78 XS11 Parts or Whole?

I have a mostly complete XS11 that I was planning to part out but am not sure how to best do that. Especially the engine. Any recommendations as to how to sell the bike or the parts? What should I charge for parts or parts-bike?

    Where are you located?

Especially at this time of year sell the whole bike together. Riding season coming people want bikes. Parting out takes a long time and in the end usually isn't worth it.

Put some pics up and maybe someone here wants it!

I live just north of San Antonio TX. I will post some pics shortly. Good advice.

Here are a few pics. The bike is outside but covered with a tarp. In the piles of parts (kept in a shed) are some tanks, seats, side-bags, and a couple of Vetter fairings.

If the pics aren't posted please email me at goulds@gvtc.com

        Thx

To post pics you need to upload to a site like Photobucket and then put the img link in your thread.

Did you buy two bikes from a guy in NWSA?

And selling the parts bike? I remember there was a pair for sale recently.

I may be interested this weekend.

Let me know if you get pics up.
