Please read carefully. I am selling a 1980 Yamaha XS1100 standard G project motorcycle. In it's current condition the bike cannot be driven, the brakes are not hooked up and the exhaust and gas tank are not on the bike. The first 6 pictures show the bike in it's current state of assembly, and the last 3 are what the bike looked like before I started the project. I do not have the faring or trunk. This bike does run and has a strong motor, with 32,000 miles. However at the moment the bike is not complete. I started to restore the bike but have lost interest and want to move on. I have everything the bike needs except for a headlight and front turn signals and mirrors. The tank and side covers will have to be painted and it more than likely needs a new battery. Tires are in good condition. In order to make this bike road ready I would suggest a complete tune up ie, brakes, fluids etc. Once complete this bike will be a monster. 95hp inline 4 cylinder 4 stroke. Comes with the original exhaust which is rare for it's age. The seat will need to be recovered. If you have the knowledge and the time this will be an easy build and give you a nice bike at a low cost. Headlight, turn signals and mirrors are not expensive, to have the seat done might be the only pricey part. There is a title with the bike. A little TLC and some paint and this will be a great bike.
