1978 Yamaha XS11 1102cc with Windjammer *V* Faring, Vetter Hard cases and Vetter Top case. Clear Ohio title, current registration. About 25k miles.
Vetter fairing now has a taller windshield than what is shown in the picture here. Also has Cycle Sound stereo kit with Cassette Stereo and speakers.
The valve shims were replaced less than 300 miles ago, and the valves and cams adjusted. This bike has a lot of power and a lot of life left in it.
Seat needs a new cover , but it wasn't that big a deal to me. I hate down time, and just got on and rode.This is my daily driver, but I'm looking to get something a little smaller. If not for the ice and snow, I'd be riding it everyday now. Even at 25 degrees or so, it's a comfortable ride with the fairing and windshield.
I also have a lot of spare parts for both the bike and the vetter fairing. I have a 1979 XS11 Special that I had planned to turn into a bobber. No title on the spare bike. It's for parts only.
Asking $1800 for everything, or $1600 for just the rideable bike. I will entertain serious offers. If you have a trade in mind, let me know. I'm willing to consider anything. If you are within a reasonable distance, and don't have a way to pick it up, let me know, and I'll ride it to you with title in hand.
