    79 standard for cheap $

    I don't have an interest in this, but there's a decent 79 standard for sale on Chicago craigslist. asking $450.00.

    The tank, exhaust, & misc parts are worth $300.00 I imagine.

    This bike has been for sale several times & might be ready to deal.

    Just thought someone might be interested.

    The exhaust if it's not rotted out is worth $450....

    Nice looking bike, with the 2nd gear problem.

      That's what I thought re exhausts

      I've been looking on ebay at stock exhausts & standard tanks. they're either junk or big bucks.

      The standard on Minneapolis list looks like good exhaust , tank etc, & seller says runs great.

      I might be running up there if it's still there after Saturday. I'd still like to make a cafe xs1100

        i picked up the whole bike with a title and running for 325.00 and I love it
        1979 XS1100 Standard (Mr. Saturday Night Special)
